ViewWorld · Rankee LLC dba Kjags Advisors · Last updated 10 September 2026
ViewWorld collects little, and tells you what it collects. You can use the whole app and the whole site without an account. If you choose to make one, we hold your email address, your saved dashboard layout, and the answers you gave when you set the app up. We do not currently show advertising, use any third-party analytics service, or track you across other apps and websites, and we have never sold or shared personal information. If any of that changes we will update this page and say what changed.
ViewWorld shows publicly available information about the world: earthquakes, storms, wildfires, shipping, flights, energy prices, market and prediction-market quotes, and news headlines. It draws on government agencies, public data feeds, and news publishers. It is an information display. It is not financial, investment, or trading advice.
An account exists for one reason: so the dashboard you arrange follows you between your phone and the web. Making one is optional and everything works without it.
That is the entire list. No name, no phone number, no address, and no payment details: Apple takes the payment and we never see a card number.
Deleting your account deletes all of it, immediately and permanently: the account, the saved layout, the sign-in identities and every signed-in session. It is self-service, in the app under Settings → Account and on the web under your account menu. Nothing is retained afterwards and nothing is archived. Deleting the account does not cancel an Apple subscription, because only Apple can do that; cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
If you sign in with one of these instead of an email and password, that provider tells us an identifier for you and, unless you hide it, an email address. We store those two things and nothing else. We never receive your password, and we do not post anything, read anything, or ask for any permission beyond confirming who you are. Sign in with Apple lets you hide your real address, and that works here: a relay address is all we need.
ViewWorld Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, holds the payment method and issues the receipt. What reaches us is a signed receipt from Apple that we check and then reduce to three facts: the plan, a transaction identifier and an expiry date. We do not receive your card number, your billing address or your Apple ID.
Preferences you set, such as the tickers on your watchlist and which map layers you have switched on, are stored locally on your phone. They are never transmitted to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
We count how the app is used so we know which parts are worth improving: that the markets panel was opened forty times today, or that someone switched to the Sports tab. These are counts and nothing else. No visitor identifier, no session, no cookie, no IP address, no ordering. We can see that a thing happened; we cannot see who did it, where they were, or what they did next, because none of that is ever written down. It is stored on our own server. No third-party analytics service is involved.
The setup answers are counted the same way. When someone finishes the first-run questions we add one to a tally for the role they chose and one for each interest. That lets us see that, say, eleven traders asked for markets this week. Whether any particular person is a trader is not recorded and cannot be recovered from those tallies. If you have an account, your own answers are also saved to it, because that is what makes your arrangement follow you between devices.
| What | Why | Kept? |
|---|---|---|
| Requests for data (headlines, quotes, weather, flights) | To send back the information the screen is showing | Not associated with you. We do not log or store IP addresses, device identifiers, or any user identifier. |
| Map coordinates, when you tap or long-press a point on the map | To look up what is happening at that spot | The result is cached briefly, keyed by the coordinates, so the next person who taps the same place gets a fast answer. This is a point on a map that you chose. It is not your location, and it is not linked to you. |
Our host, Railway, processes network traffic to deliver responses, as any web host necessarily does. That is infrastructure, not collection by us.
ViewWorld links out to other places: a news publisher's article, a market on Polymarket, a ski resort's website. It also plays live news channels from broadcasters such as Al Jazeera, Sky News, and DW. When you follow a link or watch a stream, you are on that company's property and their privacy policy applies, not ours. Some of these links may carry a referral code, which tells the destination that you arrived from ViewWorld. It does not tell them who you are, and it does not tell us anything at all.
ViewWorld is not directed to children. It is intended for a general adult audience, and it displays financial market data, prediction-market prices, and sports betting odds. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 17 to create an account.
Privacy laws including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA give you rights to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to its sale.
If you have no account, we hold no personal data about you and there is nothing to retrieve or erase. If you do have one, the only personal data we hold is your email address and your saved layout: you can see both in the app, change them at any time, and delete all of it yourself in one step without contacting us. We have never sold or shared personal information. Write to us with any request and a person will answer.
Traffic between the app and our server uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes and cannot be read back, even by us. Session tokens are stored hashed on the server, and on your phone they live in the iOS Keychain rather than in ordinary app storage.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. This version was updated on 9 September 2026, when the app began asking two setup questions on first launch. The previous version said we held only an email address and a saved layout, and described the app as having no advertising and no tracking as a permanent commitment rather than a description of how it works today. Both needed correcting: the setup answers are now listed above, and where this page describes what the app does not do, it says so about the app as it currently ships. We are not planning to add advertising or third-party tracking, but we are not going to promise never to, and if it happens this page and our App Store privacy labels will say so before it does rather than after.
